Welcome to the Breakthrough Emotional Eating Podcast. My name is Kristen Jones and thank you so much for joining me this week.

In today's episode, I want to talk to you about something that I believe absolutely is essential if you want real and lasting transformation, not just the short bursts of willpower and temporary discipline that leads to a little bit of motivation. I want you to have lasting change, and what does it take to have lasting change? It takes doing the deep work at the subconscious level, because if you've been feeling like you've been stuck and that you can't move past something in your life, there's a block in your relationship with food, in your relationship with another person self-doubt, procrastination, people pleasing, whatever it is. You're not alone, but I will tell you this you're not going to fix it with some mindset hacks and a couple of new habits or by just trying harder. You are going to need to go deeper and that's what we're going to talk about today. So most of us have tried the surface level stuff. We try to change our behavior, we try to think positively, we try to build habits or consistency and sometimes we just try to push harder. But if your subconscious mind that's the part of your mind that makes about 95% of your decisions and controls your thoughts, your feelings and your actions if it's still operating as if you were five or six years old, you are always going to feel like you're fighting yourself.

Speaker 1:

Most of us between the ages of one and seven years old received all of our beliefs about ourselves, all of our limiting beliefs, and many of them were not positive. Many of them are still holding us back today. Your subconscious mind is like an operating system, and if it's running an operating system or in a script, that is saying that you're not good enough, that you're always going to fail, that change isn't right for you and it's not safe, that love is conditional. You have to be a good person to be loved. You'll never lose weight, you're never going to be good enough. If you speak up, everyone will disown you. If you're still hearing those thoughts and those beliefs, then it doesn't matter how many times you write down your goals, it doesn't matter how many times you write down affirmations. You're going to keep pulling up those beliefs, because those beliefs are what are locked in to your subconscious mind. But there is really good news because you can rewrite the script and you can rewire those limiting beliefs and you can update your subconscious beliefs that you have, and you can do it in a way that allows you to feel empowered, allows you to feel like you are aligned with yourself, because who we are when we're born is who we are meant to be.

Speaker 1:

But so many things happen to us in the course of our lives, our lifetime, that we get a lot of stuff that gets put on top of us and gets put on top of all those beautiful beliefs and all those top of all those beautiful beliefs and all those things that, all those beautiful feelings that we have about ourselves, and we start forgetting who we truly are. So it's time to pull all of that stuff out of the way and let your true self shine through, and when you do that, that's when your life flows, that's when you become unstuck and that's when you achieve all the things that you want to achieve in your life. Well, this kind of transportation, transformation that I'm talking about is the kind that I like to help my clients with, and I do it through an incredibly powerful program called rapid transformational therapy. And the basis of rapid transformational therapy it's based in cognitive, behavioral therapy, neuro-linguistic programming, talk therapy and hypnosis, and all of those things are combined and put together and are used to address, figure out limiting beliefs, address them and then rewire and rewrite any limiting beliefs that are holding you back. And then you get your brain gets reprogrammed with the beliefs that you now want to have, and it is incredibly successful and incredibly powerful. I will tell you that your limiting beliefs if you're wondering where those things come from, as I said, they come from the first seven years of your life, and so we go back into your childhood and we figure out where do these beliefs come from? Why did you believe that as a child, and how do we go about making that change and rewiring those beliefs, and can we do it 100%? We can do it. You can absolutely understand how you developed a belief, and when you understand something, you're much more open to changing it and and being open to the change. That is a part of that process and that's what we do. So when it.

Speaker 1:

One of the things that I realized was when I had clients I had most of my clients were weight loss clients and one thing that I realized was that they had they were all losing weight and they were doing amazingly well, but they were getting to this point where they couldn't move further. They couldn't. They couldn't take the next step. They they started sabotaging themselves and I kept thinking why they're doing all the things right? Why are they not moving forward? And it was because I realized that they had these very, very deep seated beliefs, that they didn't believe that they deserve to lose weight for a variety of reasons, that losing weight wasn't safe. It wasn't something that was was, um, going to be a good thing for them, and that keeping the weight on was actually, it was familiar and it made them feel safe, although they didn't really they didn't want it at all. It was something that was safe and their subconscious mind is responsible for keeping them safe and that's what it was going to do.

Speaker 1:

So I realized that I needed to learn how to tap into their subconscious mind to be able to help them rewire those beliefs, and that is what I've done for the last about year and a half and have had incredibly, incredibly successful experiences with clients in doing this. So one of the things that I am always thinking about is how can I better serve those people that are in my world? And so I came up with this new six-week program, because I think six weeks is enough time to be able to dig in deep and to do a combination of the subconscious mind work, which is the hypnosis and the RTT, and the conscious level work, which would be new habits, new um, new uh uh routines and new, um, different activities that you do in your life, different, you know different ways of moving through your day that will help you be able to assist your subconscious mind in permanently making these changes. Uh, we have to address both the conscious and the subconscious mind, and so this program absolutely does that. So it is a six week program it's called six weeks to freedom and we can address any type of block that is holding you back, and you might not even know what your block is. You might not even know why you feel stuck, but you just know you feel stuck. We will figure it out and then we go from there.

Speaker 1:

But you get two hypnosis sessions and we address the same I the same concepts in both hypnosis sessions. But what I have found is when we're addressing something, um, in the first session, usually that uncovers something that then needs to be addressed in its own right. So having the two hypnosis sessions is really important because we can really dig deep into what this issue is and really come at it from two different angles through two different hypnosis sessions. And then, in between your hypnosis sessions, you also have pre-hypnosis sessions where you have an intake, and those sessions are done to support the hypnosis sessions. You also have pre-hypnosis sessions where you have an intake, and those sessions are done to support the hypnosis session. But then you have four coaching sessions in between and those four coaching sessions also help support you and keep you accountable. So you're doing all the things you need to do to support your, your changes that you are going to be making during the hypnosis session.

So six weeks intensive, but and again it was only one hour a week. It's like a, it's like a therapy session, one hour a week, and then you have a little bit maybe 10 to 10 minutes of things that I have you do during the during the rest of the week very, very low time commitment, but huge, impactful change that it can make in your life. It is, and you will be provided with lifelong tools. Lifelong tools that you can use and you can and you can use them throughout the rest of your life to help you always remember the value that you have, the beliefs that you want to carry with you and the things that you want to do in your life to make your life the best it could be. So, all the things there's so many things that could be holding people back. It could be emotional eating, it could be overeating, it could be not speaking your mind in a relationship, it could be people pleasing, it could be procrastination, organization, sabotaging yourself in your personal life and at your work, just overall anxiety and unhappiness. Any of those things, anything that you possibly think of, can be addressed, and so what I really want people to know, and what I want all of you to hear, is that this is available.

So many people don't know that this kind of type of service is available to them and they're afraid of it. They're afraid of hypnosis. They don't know what hypnosis is and I can absolutely explain. I always like to explain that to people in a personal session. But again, tapping into the subconscious is not scary. You're not out of control, you're not asleep, you're not vulnerable. You are just in a very light, relaxed state, and I also have things in place that will allow you even if you have anxiety, I will allow you to be able to be at peace, to be able to allow yourself to be able to be hypnotized. So if you have any concerns about that, you can absolutely take care of that as well.

But the most important thing for you to know is that you have so many resources available to you and you. There are so many things that you can do to help yourself, and the question is how that you can do to help yourself. And the question is how much do you want to change? How much do you want your life to be different? Because if you want your life to be different, that's what I'm here for I can help you make your life different and make it exactly the way you want it to be. It's not simple, it's not easy, but it's worth it and it is something that will change your life moving forward.
